3 – 5 pm

Old Orange County Courthouse  –  104 East King Street, Hillsborough

and

River Park Farmers Market Pavilion – East Margaret Lane

JOIN your friends and neighbors for an ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION of our SISTER MARCH to the National “Women’s March on Washington” held in 2017.

As articulated by the organizers of the national march: “We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families – recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country.”

During the historic nationwide gathering of women and their supporters in 2017, the spirit of advocacy and activism was truly rekindled.

This year’s event proclaims that we should not simply MARCH on this occasion, but instead capture the momentum and turn it into ACTION. The latter is essential to harness our collective power — for the benefit of our local communities, our families, and our nation.

Further, we would like to acknowledge the diversity of our community and welcome people of every gender/gender identity to participate.
